About me

I'm Vanesa Hoxha... and welcome to my page! Currently a junior at Loyola University Chicago, I study multimedia journalism with a minor in Islamic world studies. Although I am only a third-year undergraduate student, with three years of experience, I've chased a variety of stories. From interviewing athletes at Loyola to covering local, hard news in the city of Chicago (where I was born and raised).

One of my biggest learning experiences was with my first internship at News Nation on the Banfield team. As a first-year college student, I had the privilege of covering and being exposed to national news and working with talented anchors and producers in the newsroom exercising my skills.

Now, I am a reporter for Rambler Sports Locker, Loyola's student-run broadcast, and work on posting stories, interviews, and more content for my followers on "Vanesa Hoxha TV!"

Aside from my work, I'm a HUGE family gal. I enjoy spending time with them and finding fun things to do in the wonderful city of Chicago. Also, after 11 years of playing competitive volleyball, I officially hung up my jersey after high school, but enjoy playing recreational volleyball in my free time!
